GIS Specialist Job Description: • Responsible for maintenance of all GIS databases, hardware,
software and implement of GIS/GPS technology in company's
projects within the guidelines of managers.
• Data acquisition from various agencies
• Database organization
• Hardware/software upkeep
• Autocad work, report writing, exhibit preparation, and
involvement in other non-GIS related company's projects
especially in IT projects.
Qualifications:• Candidate must have at least B.S. Geography, B.Eng
Environmental, Civil Engineering or related fields
from reputable universities
• Must have sufficient job-related experience at least 2 years
• Must have proficiency in using Mapinfo for Windows,
AutoCad
• Experience in data conversion of GPS technology
• Knowledge of Windows, telecommunication software,
and internet is a must
• Experience with remote sensing/ image editing software, digital
mapping software, eagle point software, scanners, multi-media,
and plotters
• Creative, flexible, and Proactive
• Good command of English
Salary: Depend on qualifications & experiences
